Postdoctoral researcher position opened at Medical Interactive Technologies, UEF

We are seeking motivated applicants to be involved in an interdisciplinary research project funded by the Academy of Finland: “Next generation sensory monitoring for improving microsurgical skills and performance”. The research will focus on deep understanding of sensorimotor perception and action in image-guided surgeries. A combination of human factors, computational modeling, machine learning, computer vision will be applied for intelligent skill monitoring in bimanual surgical tasks, interaction with robotic assistance, and focusing on eye-hand coordination and human-robot interaction in surgical procedures.
